Xfinity is rolling out national video plans with an all-in pricing approach, Comcast said. Every package includes an X1 4K TV box and Xfinity’s voice remote, and features Multiview, Enhanced 4K, Fan View, and StreamStore to enhance the viewing experience wherever content lives.
The plans are marketed with a single, simple price that includes major fees, and there are no contracts or commitments. Customers can save $10 per month by bundling their video package with Xfinity Internet.
In addition to 300 hours of DVR storage, the offerings let users watch channels at home or on the go through the Xfinity Stream app on platforms such as Apple TV, Fire TV, iOS, Android, Roku, Xumo TV, and more.
When paired with Xfinity7s national internet plans that include a year of unlimited mobile service for 12 months, these video packages could deliver savings of over $70 per month for a year compared with AT&T and Verizon.
“Unmatched value” — Steve Croney, Chief Operating Officer and incoming CEO for connectivity and platforms at Comcast, said the simplified video packages, when combined with internet and mobile, offer compelling value and additional savings with bundles like Xfinity StreamSaver.
Starting today, the new TV plans are available to both new and existing Xfinity customers, continuing the companys push toward simpler pricing, greater value, and smarter bundles for entertainment.
