Wire 3, a Daytona Beach–based internet provider, has activated its first fiber connections in Deltona and DeLand, marking the start of residential and business service in those Volusia County communities.
The privately funded, $60 million buildout will extend fiber to thousands of homes and commercial properties across the area, reinforcing Wire 3’s claim as Central Florida’s exclusive 100% fiber internet provider.
Early customers can take advantage of incentives, including a 10-year price lock on service packages and no-contract plan options.
“Launching new markets across the Sunshine State is one of the most rewarding parts of our work,” said Jai Ramachandran, Wire 3’s CEO. “Connecting Deltona and DeLand residents to our high-speed service reinforces our commitment to Volusia County and expanding fast, reliable fiber throughout the region.”
Wire 3’s network currently serves Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Holly Hill, Port St. Lucie and New Smyrna Beach, with customer equipment such as an Amazon eero included with the service. The Deltona and DeLand launches follow a broader trend of regional fiber investments as providers compete to meet rising demand for higher-bandwidth residential and business services.
Additionally, Wire 3 notes that the Deltona/DeLand expansion is privately funded as part of its strategy to widen fiber access across Central Florida.
