Sparklight awards more than $125,000 in charitable grants through its Charitable Giving Fund, supporting 25 local nonprofits across 24 states.

Sparklight has announced the award of more than $125,000 in grants through its Charitable Giving Fund, benefiting 25 local nonprofit organizations across the 24 states the fiber‑broadband provider serves.

The Charitable Giving Fund distributes about $250,000 in grants each year and focuses on three priority areas: Education and digital literacy, Food security, and Community development.

In addition to these core priorities, this grant season supported organizations addressing homelessness, child protection, families in crisis, youth empowerment, and meaningful holiday assistance for people facing economic hardship.

“Our communities face real challenges — from hunger and housing insecurity to barriers in learning and connection. Our Charitable Giving Fund allows us to stand with the people who are meeting these challenges with compassion, and we are honored to support the organizations shaping brighter futures for many individuals and families,” said Ken Johnson, Sparklight’s chief operating officer.

Among the recipients is St. Felix Pantry in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. “We’re deeply grateful for Sparklight’s generosity and genuine care for our community,” said Tim Sheahan, St. Felix Pantry’s president and CEO. “This grant will help numerous families facing economic challenges find stability and hope.”

Since the program’s inception, Sparklight has awarded nearly $1.2 million in grants to organizations across its footprint, reinforcing the company’s long‑standing commitment to partner in progress and strengthen community foundations.

Grant applications are accepted during open cycles each spring and fall. The spring 2026 cycle is scheduled for April 1–30, 2026.

For more news like this, Sparklight and Broadband Communities continue to highlight how local grants can drive measurable community impact and opportunity across Sparklight’s service area.
