Sparklight has launched an on-demand service called TechAssist to help customers set up and troubleshoot connected devices, from security cameras to smart TVs. The service connects users with live, US-based experts and offers tiered plans starting at $10 per month.

Sparklight has announced the launch of TechAssist, an on-demand service designed to help customers set up and troubleshoot the growing number of Wi-Fi-connected devices—from security cameras to smart TVs and more.

TechAssist connects customers with live, U.S.–based experts who guide setup, address compatibility issues, and maximize device performance so families can spend less time troubleshooting and more time enjoying their tech.

With the average Sparklight home hosting more than 20 connected devices, TechAssist aims to simplify complex configurations and cut down on time-consuming troubleshooting that can overwhelm households.

TechAssist is offered in three plan levels, starting at $10 per month for live connectivity-support and expanding to options that cover repairs and replacements for home entertainment systems, computers and smart-home devices. The top tier, TechAssist Complete, even includes accidental damage protection for portable tech such as tablets and wearables.

Tony Mokry, Senior Vice President of Residential Services at Sparklight, says the company partnered with Asurion to deliver TechAssist, a new pillar in providing a total, seamlessly connected experience for customers relying on multiple devices daily.

All plans provide unlimited access to live experts seven days a week, ensuring customers can get help whenever they need it while keeping their devices running smoothly.

Further details on TechAssist and Sparklight’s broader proptech initiatives are featured in industry press and related coverage, including subscription options for the Broadband Communities newsletter.
