GCG Data Centers Realigns for Hyperscaler Builds

GCG Data Centers announces a strategic realignment to sharpen its offerings around cabling, prefabricated power whips, conveyance, and related services for hyperscalers and multi-tenant providers.

GCG Data Centers has realigned its business to focus on hyperscalers and multi-tenant providers, sharpening its offerings around cabling, prefabricated power whips, conveyance, and related services.

The move positions GCG as the go-to supplier for hyperscalers, a group the company says will account for about 95% of data center power demand by 2028.

The company frames its approach as an alternative to standardized “one-size-fits-all” products that struggle to meet accelerated project timelines and complex site constraints.

Capabilities highlighted include a broad inventory of copper and fiber cabling and accessories—from in-house brands Paige, Connect-Air and Cobra X-Flex to third-party names like Panduit and Legrand—plus nationwide distribution centers for faster fulfillment and engineering services for custom configurations, labeling and staging.

GCG notes its buying power and inventory depth as a competitive edge, citing more than $1 billion in annual revenue and more than two dozen distribution facilities across North America and Europe. The company says its model is designed to scale, pivot, and adapt in real time to nontraditional timelines and specialized site needs.

“Today’s data center environments demand solutions that are practical, repeatable, and ready to perform,” said David Coleman, senior vice president of Data Centers and Intelligent Buildings at GCG. “We focus on what matters most to our customers—speed, reliability, and a supply chain built on trusted partnerships.”
