Fort Collins Connexion unveils SmartHome, a self-management app for its Enhanced 2-Gig and Premier 10-Gig plans, enabling device visibility, parental controls, bandwidth prioritization, and security features.

Fort Collins Connexion has unveiled SmartHome, a self-management app designed to empower residents with greater visibility and control over their home networks. The feature-rich platform is available now with Connexion’s Enhanced 2-Gig and Premier 10-Gig internet tiers.

SmartHome, powered by the Connexion Wi-Fi app, lets users view every device connected to their network, apply parental controls, prioritize bandwidth for critical activities, and defend against online threats through integrated tools such as ExperienceIQ and ProtectIQ.

“People rely on their internet for work, schooling, streaming, and gaming,” said Chad Crager, Executive Director of Fort Collins Connexion. “SmartHome gives residents the flexibility they need with easy-to-use tools that make managing their home network simple and secure.”

Connexion’s Enhanced 2-Gig and Premier 10-Gig packages run on Fort Collins’ fiber-based network, delivering symmetric upload and download speeds along with robust whole-home Wi‑Fi coverage. The combination supports simultaneous streaming, gaming, and remote work without interruption.

As a municipal broadband utility, Connexion emphasizes local choice and dependable service, offering 1-, 2-, and 10-gig options with no long-term contracts. The SmartHome self-management suite is part of the broader push to give Fort Collins residents more control over their digital lives.
