Orbitel Communications has announced automatic, cost-free speed upgrades for most customers in its Arizona footprint, with no changes to monthly bills.

Orbitel Communications has begun automatically upgrading the speeds of most customers across its Arizona service area, delivering faster internet without any action required or price increases.

In a press release, Orbitel highlighted its ongoing commitment to providing greater value, enhanced performance, and appreciation for the communities it serves. The company’s leadership framed the change as more than a simple speed boost, noting it reflects listening to customers and investing in their future.

Customers on various Orbitel plans are now enjoying boosted speeds of up to 300 Mbps, 500 Mbps, or 1 Gbps, depending on their current plan. In most cases, the upgrades have already been implemented automatically, with no changes to customers’ bills or required steps.

As part of a broader infrastructure initiative, Orbitel is also rolling out its high-speed 5 GIG service in select areas through its FLIGHT FIBER expansion. Where FLIGHT FIBER is not yet available, customers can still access top-tier service with speeds up to 1 GIG, underscoring Orbitel’s aim to lead in broadband innovation.

Orbitel Communications operates as a full-service telecommunications provider anchored by FLIGHT FIBER. It serves communities including SunBird, Sun Lakes, Robson Ranch, SaddleBrooke, SaddleBrooke Ranch, and Maricopa, Arizona, and is part of the Schurz Broadband Group family of companies.

“This is about more than faster speeds—it’s about reliability, value, and keeping families connected affordably,” said Latisha Rose, Interim General Manager of Orbitel. “We’re listening to our customers and investing in connectivity they can count on.”
