Liberty unveils the DS42 TeamUp+ Series, a BYOM-ready switcher/extender designed to streamline classroom and training-space connectivity with a single USB-C cable.

Liberty has unveiled the DS42 TeamUp+ Series Multiscreen BYOM Switcher / Extender, a next-generation collaboration platform designed to simplify connectivity in modern classrooms, conference rooms, and training spaces.

The DS42 consolidates video, analog and Dante audio, USB 3.0, ethernet, and power delivery into a single USB-C connection. Liberty’s receivers extend these signals up to 100 meters, adding USB ports and a secondary display output where needed.

With native multi-display extension for both PC and Mac devices, users can mirror or extend across multiple displays, while the rugged tabletop design is built for heavy, everyday use in education and enterprise environments.

“The DS42 TeamUp+ Series was designed to remove barriers to hybrid collaboration—distance, dongles, and device limitations—so users can plug in and go, without instruction,” said Warren Clark, Liberty’s vice president and general manager.

Among its benefits, USB-C continues to serve as the universal standard for data, power, and video, helping Liberty position customers for long-term adaptability as AV and IT ecosystems converge. Liberty describes its mission as making technology easy to use and reliable, with tools to create connected, productive environments.
