IQ Fiber has officially launched its 100% fiber-optic internet network in Charleston, South Carolina, including the communities of West Ashley and the Town of Mount Pleasant, expanding its footprint in the Southeast.
Built on a modern XGS-PON platform with a fully redundant core fiber-ring, the Charleston network is designed to deliver symmetrical speeds up to 10 gigabits per second with reliable, low-latency connections for streaming, remote work, gaming, and business applications.

Pricing for IQ Fiber’s Charleston plans starts at $65 per month and includes professional installation, whole-home Wi-Fi 7 service, and 24/7 live support from an Eastern U.S.-based team. The network expansion includes a local operations office at 2030 Herbert Street to support deployment and ongoing customer service as IQ Fiber continues regional growth.
To mark the Charleston launch, IQ Fiber hosted a Fiberhood celebration at Shadowmoss Country Club, offering residents, civic leaders, and partners a chance to learn about service availability and the company’s plans for the area.
IQ Fiber’s Charleston network sits on a 10-Gigabit symmetric XGS-PON backbone with a fully redundant core ring that connects to a broader internet ecosystem. The company notes its network now spans more than 2,700 route miles and extends IQ Fiber’s service area beyond Florida and Georgia into the Carolinas, with additional Florida deployments and Maryland operations through ThinkBig Networks planned in the future.
