All West Fiber expands Rawlins network

All West Fiber launches a multi-phase fiber expansion in Rawlins, Wyoming, to deliver multi-gigabit internet to thousands of homes and businesses.

All West Fiber has broken ground on a major network expansion in Rawlins, Wyoming, as the provider moves to bring multi-gig fiber broadband to thousands of homes and businesses.

The project aims to deliver a fiber-to-the-home FTTH network capable of multi-gig speeds up to 8 Gbps,
serving more than 3,700 passings once completed and expanding service in a community previously underserved.

A groundbreaking ceremony held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, brought together community leaders and All West representatives to mark the launch and discuss its potential impact on the local economy and daily life.

All West said the expansion is fully funded by the company and represents a step toward bridging the digital divide and offering future-ready connectivity in a market that has faced limited options and aging infrastructure.

Dirk Staton, VP of engineering and construction for All West, called high-speed fiber essential infrastructure that will enable residents and businesses in Rawlins to participate more fully in the digital economy. The rollout will occur in phases, with serviceable passings expected to grow as construction progresses and initial areas becoming service-ready by May 2026.

Rawlins City Council member Steve Sanger welcomed the project, noting that faster, more reliable internet would be a major boon for homes and local businesses and for the community’s long-term growth.
