Wire 3 is expanding its Lake County network to Clermont and Minneola, increasing its private county investment to $150 million as the company brings fiber deeper into the region.
Construction is already underway across Lake County, following earlier plans to build fiber in Eustis, Leesburg, Mount Dora and Tavares, with the latest phases reaching Clermont and Minneola in the near term.
Residents and businesses in the two communities can expect symmetric multigigabit service, with speeds up to 10 gigabits per second, no-contract plans, and opportunities for pre-sales through Wire 3’s website.
“As Wire 3 strengthens its presence in Lake County, six communities are on the cusp of transformation thanks to a future-proof network,” said Jai Ramachandran, Wire 3’s chief executive officer. “Our local teams are building efficient, reliable, and resilient infrastructure to keep neighbors connected and support local business growth.”
Wire 3 is also including an Amazon eero device with its service installations, reinforcing the company’s push to broaden fiber access across Central Florida, where it already serves Daytona Beach, Ocala, and Port St. Lucie.
The rollout is part of a broader push to bring fiber to more than 50 communities across Central Florida, a strategy that positions Wire 3 as a growing regional provider in the region.
