West Carolina Rural Telephone Cooperative has partnered with GOCare to deploy the GOCare Digital Experience Platform, a move designed to enhance subscriber communications and improve operational efficiency for the region.
The deployment features two core modules: GOCare Reach, a targeted outbound campaign tool for proactive messages, and GOCare Connect, an omni-channel interface that unifies two-way SMS, webchat, email, and social channels into a single view. West Carolina will leverage these tools to inform customers about service availability and network improvements while reducing inbound call center traffic.
Together, Reach and Connect are expected to enable proactive updates and seamless, customer-centric interactions, helping West Carolina meet customers where they prefer to engage while lowering support costs and improving first-contact resolution.
“West Carolina is committed to offering our customers best-in-class experiences across every touchpoint,” said Chris Townson, CEO of West Carolina. “Partnering with GOCare gives us the ability to engage customers through the digital channels they prefer while making our team more responsive, more efficient, and better equipped to deliver the level of service our communities expect.”
West Carolina’s rollout also includes separately branded digital communications for Upcountry Fiber through its partnership with Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative (BREC), underscoring GOCare’s ability to support multiple brands and service areas within a single platform.
“West Carolina’s team has demonstrated a forward-thinking approach to digital customer experience,” said Mike Roddy, CEO and Co-Founder of GOCare. “With GOCare’s platform, they’re not just meeting expectations; they’re raising the bar. We’re honored to support their efforts and help bring their digital engagement vision to life.”
