Ripple Fiber unveiled plans to extend its fiber network into Garden City and Inkster, Michigan, bringing multi-gig internet to more than 3,750 homes and businesses.

Ripple Fiber, a fiber‑optic internet provider and network operator, announced expansion plans to Garden City and Inkster, Michigan, extending its Wayne County footprint to serve more homes and businesses.

The project will add fiber internet access to more than 3,750 addresses in Garden City and Inkster, with construction slated to begin in April 2026. Ripple’s existing Michigan footprint already includes Allen Park, Plymouth, Canton, and Westland.

Kerrie LaPorte, construction manager at Ripple Fiber, said the expansion is aimed at delivering lasting, future‑proof connectivity and expanding access where it’s most needed.

Ripple Fiber’s network promises strong bandwidth, symmetrical speeds, improved security, and greater reliability. Multi‑gig packages are available, featuring the eero Pro 7 router, free Wi‑Fi backup, and a 3‑Year Price Lock, along with White Glove Installation and a 30‑day Service Promise to ensure a smooth start.

Beyond Wayne County, Ripple is expanding digital access in Midland and Saginaw in the Great Lakes Bay Region, with additional municipalities to be announced in coming months. Ookla Speedtest Intelligence data from late 2025 show Ripple delivering the fastest speeds in Westland and Midland, and Ripple aims to bring similar performance to Garden City and Inkster.

Residents can pre‑order service online or by phone as construction gets underway; advance notices will be mailed and delivered with door hangers. Ripple also provides complimentary flags to mark in‑home hazards such as sprinkler heads or invisible dog fences during installation.
