STL CEO: UK Connectivity Outlook Bright

STL's Rahul Puri explains why the UK market is ready for a new phase of fiber and data-center growth, highlighted at Connected Britain.

At Connected Britain, Rahul Puri, CEO of STL, said the UK’s next phase of connectivity growth is already visible, with hyperscalers and data center players attending the show and signaling a shift in the market.

“We actually go out and solve for the customer’s problems,” Puri said, underscoring STL’s approach beyond standard solutions. He noted that this customer-centric stance is supported by STL’s global manufacturing footprint, which provides a distinctive edge.

Puri also pointed to lessons from the pandemic years as a catalyst for accelerating fiber deployments, arguing that the UK has made meaningful progress and has joined a growing set of markets benefiting from modern connectivity infrastructure. He cited estimates that robust fiber networks can contribute a notable uplift to GDP.

Beyond growth mindset, STL’s advantage comes from its deep understanding of customer challenges and its ability to deliver on a broad, globally supported manufacturing base. This combination, Puri argued, positions STL to lead in the next era of connectivity.

As STL positions itself for the next phase, Connected Britain serves as a barometer for market momentum, with Puri indicating STL will continue to push the UK’s fiber and data-center expansion while solving real customer problems.
