Ritter Communications reports its employees logged over 1,100 volunteer hours in August and September, with more than 300 staff participating in community projects.
The efforts supported 13 organizations across Ritter’s service area, which includes portions of Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, Missouri, Kentucky, and Louisiana.
CEO Heath Simpson said the volunteer push aligns with the company’s “Right by You” pledge to support customers, employees, and local communities, and described the program as enabling staff to contribute time and support to community work while preserving strong customer-service commitments.
One technician, Ricky Reddell, described the experience as deeply moving and highlighted work benefiting foster children, though the company did not disclose the names of the 13 beneficiary groups or the specific projects.
Ritter Communications, privately held and based in Jonesboro, serves about 197 communities and more than 60,000 customers across the Mid-South, reinforcing its mission to blend advanced fiber technology with local community involvement.
