Ritter Communications plans to extend its high-capacity fiber network from Little Rock to Tulsa, under a 20-year hyperscaler contract.

Ritter Communications has unveiled plans to extend its high-capacity, long-haul fiber backbone from Little Rock, Arkansas to Tulsa, Oklahoma, under a 20-year contract with a major hyperscaler.

The Oklahoma extension will connect two growing markets and is expected to deliver next-generation services to both new and existing markets along the proposed route, expanding Ritter’s footprint to a seventh state.

The project includes more than 280 miles of underground multi-conduit systems and high-count fiber cables, with the aim of supporting residential and commercial services and the hyperscaler partner’s artificial intelligence initiatives.

Ritter’s CEO Heath Simpson described the venture as a key step in the company’s continued growth trajectory, emphasizing customized infrastructure solutions that meet rising demand across diverse markets.

Officials say the build is scheduled for completion by the end of next month, beginning in Little Rock and extending to Tulsa as a long-haul network upgrade that will help scale services across Oklahoma and beyond.

With this expansion, Oklahoma becomes Ritter’s seventh state, reflecting the company’s broader strategy to expand capacity and reach for data-center and AI workloads.
