Clearfield has unveiled the NOVA Platform, a modular, high-density fiber ecosystem designed to simplify building and scaling modern networks across environments—from hyperscale data centers to enterprise campuses.
At the platform’s core is the NOVA Cassette, Clearfield’s newest high-density cassette that enables fast, tool-less installation and keeps all technician work at the front of the rack. Each cassette also includes an integrated designation card and a paired designation point on the panel to provide clearer, more consistent documentation than traditional high-density systems.
The NOVA Platform includes NOVA Patch Panels in 1U, 2U, and 4U configurations. A fully loaded 4U panel can support up to 384 LC fibers while maintaining clean front-of-rack access for moves, adds and changes. Cassettes can be installed from either the front or rear of the panel to give operators deployment flexibility.
In addition to the cassette and patch panels, NOVA spans wall-mount panels, trunk and jumper assemblies, and a new suite of rack and cabinet solutions that cover everything from core data centers to distributed edge environments. Each component is designed for high density, clean cable management, and scalable integration with minimal disruption.
Industry analysts, including the Dell’Oro Group, note that demand for 100G-and-above optics is accelerating and will drive double-digit growth in data center fiber through the decade. The NOVA Platform is positioned to address that trend by enabling density and manageability as fiber counts rise per rack.
Anis Khemakhem, Chief Commercial Officer at Clearfield, said the NOVA Platform centers on simple deployment and scalable design, enabling streamlined training, reduced inventory sprawl, and faster network turn-up without rethinking the entire approach.
The platform’s modularity lets teams grow capacity incrementally, from an enterprise closet to a hyperscale white space, without changing tools or retraining staff.
